Born on March 15, 2003, Cole was the cherished son of Jeff and Mindi (Meyer) Thierer. He is survived by his devoted parents, his brother Talen Thierer, and his sister Ella Thierer. He also leaves behind his loving grandparents, John and Dawn Meyer, and Joe and Sue Thierer, along with a close-knit extended family that includes aunts, uncles, cousins, longtime girlfriend Anastasia, and many friends whose lives he touched deeply. Cole was preceded in death by his uncle, Drew Meyer.
Though his life was tragically brief, those closest to Cole say he lived with extraordinary passion, determination, and love. Family was at the center of everything he did. Despite spending much of the last five years living away from home in places such as Iowa City, Miami, and Chicago, he remained deeply connected to his loved ones through constant communication and unwavering affection.
Friends and family recall how Cole never ended a conversation without saying, “I love you,” a small but meaningful reflection of the compassion and loyalty that defined his life. His close relationships with his siblings, parents, and grandparents remained one of the greatest sources of joy and strength throughout his life.
Cole also valued his friendships immensely and was known for his unwavering loyalty and willingness to help others. Whether in personal matters or professional pursuits, he was someone people could depend on. Some of his happiest moments were spent with his longtime girlfriend Anastasia and their beloved French bulldogs, Mav and Winnie, whom he affectionately referred to as his “boys.”
At just 18 years old, Cole demonstrated remarkable ambition and entrepreneurial spirit by founding his own company. Those who knew him admired his drive, work ethic, and determination to build a successful future on his own terms. He approached his business goals with confidence and maturity well beyond his years, earning respect from colleagues and peers alike.
In addition to his professional ambitions, Cole was passionate about politics and firmly rooted in his conservative beliefs. He was never afraid to express his views or engage in thoughtful conversations about issues important to him. Family and friends say he approached those discussions with conviction, honesty, and confidence.
As loved ones reflect on his life, they continue to remember Cole for the energy, love, and enthusiasm he brought into every room. His impact extended far beyond his years, leaving behind memories that will forever remain treasured by those fortunate enough to know him.
